Bursaries
Nelson Barcapel bursaries
Funds have been made available through the generous support of A Nelson and the Barcapel Foundation to help dentists, doctors, nurses and veterinary surgeons training to take the MFHom and VetMFHom examinations. Bursaries are also available for pharmacists and podiatrists training for the DFHom or MFHom.
The bursaries are given to those who most need them, those who are unable to attract financial support elsewhere and those who, on completion of their studies, are likely to use homeopathic medicines regularly within their practice. Applicants should be UK citizens, resident in the UK and intending to practise within the UK or Ireland.
Bursaries are awarded for course fees only: they do not cover travel or accommodation costs, books or examination fees. Retrospective applications cannot be considered.
Applications are considered on an annual basis to fit with the cycle of courses. Some flexibility will be shown each year in awarding the bursaries, depending on the number of individuals applying and the total funds available.
The closing date for applications for the academic year 2010-2011 is 28 May 2010. Successful applicants will be informed by the end of July 2010.
