Entry requirements
Practitioners must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) or hold qualifications that are registrable with the GMC.
Introductory training -
leading to the qualification LFHom (Med)
For doctors to gain a basic understanding of homeopathy, enabling them to give informed guidance to patients and apply homeopathy in a targeted way in their patient care.
Further training –
leading to the qualification MFHom
This course is for doctors who are looking to acquire a greater knowledge of homeopathic prescribing within the context of general medical practice.
Note: Those who began training for the MFHom in 2006 will need to have passed the Primary Health Care Examination (PHCE) before sitting the MFHom examination.
