Mexico proudly invites the global homeopathic community to the 79th Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI) Congress, taking place from October 21 to 24, 2026, in the historic and culturally vibrant city of Mérida, Yucatán.
This edition of the Congress is especially meaningful for Mexico, the first country in the world to officially recognize homeopathy by presidential decree on August 10, 1895. Since then, Mexico has played a pioneering role in the development of homeopathic medicine, producing some of the discipline’s most esteemed figures:
Dr. Higinio G. Pérez – Founder of the Escuela Libre de Homeopatía, revered as the “Apostle of Homeopathy in Mexico.”
Dr. Proceso S. Ortega – Founder of Homeopatía de México, known for his advancement of Hahnemannian principles and deep exploration of chronic diseases and miasms.
What to Expect
This world-class event offers three full days of academic sessions, engaging parallel tracks, and a range of scientific and cultural activities designed for practitioners, researchers, students, and enthusiasts of homeopathy.
One of the highlights is the Pan American Materia Medica Congress, alongside networking events, cultural immersion opportunities, and specialized workshops.
La Ciudad Blanca – The White City – is the ideal backdrop for this prestigious event. Known for its warm hospitality, rich history, and cultural depth, Mérida offers a unique blend of ancient Mayan heritage and modern elegance.
