A Critical Overview of Homeopathic Research
Presented by Professor George Vithoulkas
We are celebrating Professor Vithoulkas' birthday as we are honoured that he has agreed to present this webinar on his birthday weekend.
Celebrate with us and pass on your congratulations to him!
Summary
To date, all efforts to conduct research and publish scientific papers supporting homeopathy have been ignored by reputable researchers. This is because such studies fail to adhere to the fundamental principles of medical research, particularly the standards of randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
Since homeopathy is a highly individualized form of medicine, it is unlikely that its effectiveness can ever be demonstrated through trials designed to evaluate treatments that apply broadly to large populations. The question of how to develop a valid research protocol that aligns with homeopathy's principles while meeting scientific standards remains one of the greatest challenges for its widespread acceptance.
