The July meeting is all set to take place in a couple of weeks' time, on Tuesday July 15th from 8-10pm UK time on Zoom.
For this month's, as well as for next month's August meeting, we will continue the custom that we have followed in recent years, and focus on CPD, through informal discussion and support amongst Faculty and Society members, and students alongside.
This month's meeting will be co-chaired by Dr Yubraj Sharma, Medical Dean of the Faculty of Homeopathy, with whom this group has been affiliated since its inception in 2000. Yubraj will have the opportunity to demonstrate to our group members what is taking place behind the scenes at the Faculty, in support and on behalf of the Homeopathic Community here in the UK and beyond. And to discuss any of your questions, topics or concerns as WSWSHG members and professional homeopaths, whether medical or non-medical.
Additionally, Yubraj will be in a position to explain the Faculty’s current academic activities, and the lay sector colleges group Homeopathy Training, with which he is also involved.
Importantly, this meeting provides a space for shared reflections on experiences gained in practice or in learning, as well as thoughts and questions arising from the many inspiring presentations that have taken place on this platform throughout the last year. Please let me know in particular if you would like 15 minutes or more set aside during the meeting for us to give attention to your specific topic. We will be happy to accommodate this if we know in advance and if required Yubraj can bring any supporting files/documents to share. Meanwhile we'd be grateful to hear from any one of you with particular insights, perhaps arising from clinical experience in your practice, or if you are a student, from the course you are following, perhaps from a remedy that has revealed itself to you in new ways, or in relation to a topic presented by one of our speakers. If any one of you is facing a particular challenge with any aspect of homeopathic learning or practice, and would like to receive support from Yubraj and others in an open and confidential setting (these meetings will not be recorded), please do consider contacting me in advance. It is important that we are here to support one another, and there are also a good number among us with a great deal of knowledge and experience, just waiting to be passed on to the rest of us!
In any event please would you indicate by emailing me if you would like to receive the Zoom link on the 15th?
Meanwhile, please be advised that the £10 contribution WILL NOT APPLY for this month and next.
