Online event with Dr Ernst Trebin

This online event will be held on January 17th at 8pm UK time on Zoom, Dr Trebin is an M.D. practising homeopathy in Germany for 35 years or more. What interests me about him is his willingness to question some of the currently adopted methodologies put forward in the teaching and practice of homeopathy, in the light of his own deep investigation into what was actually written by Hahnemann in his Organon and Chronic Diseases. 

Dr Ernst Trebin's introduction to you:

Hello, my name is Ernst Trebin, I am a German doctor, 72 years old, living and working in Bamberg, Bavaria, as a general practitioner and homoeopath.

From the moment I settled into my own practice in 1985 I started to study homoeopathy. In 1997 I left the public health system and turned exclusively to private practice. My vision was to devote time enough for this method, and to cure everything with homoeopathy. But not every treatment was successful. So, I began to look for better ways than the art of working I had learned. 

I realised that not every homoeopathic remedy can cure all cases. I found my way, as Hahnemann described in The Chronic Diseases, to the minerals. I discovered the Biochemic Salts and their combinations, as introduced by Schüßler and developed by JT Kent, and experimented with a lot of them (incorporating the ideas of those of Kent’s generation). I came, by and by, to an understanding of the miasms – following JC Burnett – and the real value of remedies like Potassium Iodatum or Bichromicum.

I found ultimately, that every patient with a chronic disease needs a sodium and a potassium salt in a dual way of treatment. And by the end of that chapter of my personal development I had reduced my arsenal of remedies to twelve salts (like Schüßler, but not identical with his selection); of course supplemented by nosodes, psychotropic remedies or remedies for causalities or certain states.

This art of working is well structured, it is a dynamic process and not so easy to handle. Furthermore, to cure a sick constitution needs a lot of time and sometimes patience. But the results are simply wonderful, even in severe pathologies, and I wish to spread this experience among my colleagues, to lead to a higher homoeopathy in chronic diseases.
