The Faculty of Homeopathy is deeply honoured to have His Majesty King Charles III as our Royal Patron. As The Prince of Wales, His Majesty first became Patron of the Faculty in 2019, marking the 175th anniversary of the founding of the organisation. Following his ascent to the throne, Buckingham Palace conducted an in depth review of Patronages and on the occasion of the first anniversary of his coronation, confirmed that His Majesty had graciously chosen to retain and continue his Patronage of the Faculty.
Dr Lee Kayne, President of the Faculty of Homeopathy, comments:
“It is an enormous honour for the Faculty to have His Majesty The King as our Royal Patron, continuing the Royal Family’s long history of supporting homeopathy as part of an integrative and person-centred approach to healthcare. The Royal Patronage strengthens our resolve to advance our important work to promote and support the highest standards of practice, education and research in Homeopathy.”

In the past, our Royal Patron has talked about how the triple threat of climate change, catastrophic biodiversity loss, and coronavirus have created a fierce and urgent need to secure a sustainable future.
The Faculty of Homeopathy is pleased to support these calls for more sustainable approaches. Within healthcare systems, it is hard to find a more sustainable, environmentally friendly, low-carbon treatment option than Homeopathy. Given the many challenges within healthcare at present, there has never been a better time to ensure that Homeopathy is widely available to as many patients as possible.
Sustainability was a key theme of the Faculty of Homeopathy’s 100th Congress, which took take place in November 2024 in Edinburgh. Entitled, Homeopathy: Integrative Medicine for a Sustainable Future. This event explored the key themes of integration and sustainability, and the benefits that Homeopathy plays within healthcare.
