Dr Ingrid Anderson

BVSc GPCert(SAM) VetMFHom MRCVS

In 2005, Ingrid graduated from Onderstepoort, part of the University of Pretoria and the only Veterinary school in Southern Africa. The training was 'hands-on', with students being required to think laterally, always to justify treatments and procedures for patients solely managed by final year students, and to look at every case holistically.

Ingrid comments, "I came to the UK on a whim with a couple of Uni friends a couple of months after graduation, planning to stay for a year. I had not visited the UK before, and it was instant love when I landed. I have happily lived and worked in London and Surrey since."

"I spent over 14 years in a very busy first opinion small animal practice in London. During that time, I was fortunate enough to have open-minded bosses who supported me in first completing a certificate in small animal internal medicine, then studying and prescribing Homeopathy in a strictly conventional, corporate practice. I very much appreciated the freedom to use the best of both medical disciplines."

"I worked in conventional practice until September 2020 when the timing became perfect to start my own Homeopathy practice, which has been an incredibly interesting and rewarding experience."
