Karen Hooton
Having trained as a Registered Sick Children’s Nurse in Edinburgh in the 80’s, Karen completed her joint nursing/homeopathy degree at Edinburgh Napier University in 2002 qualifying as a Specialist Nurse in Homeopathy. There are only a handful of us in the world with this particular qualification. Karen has been a faculty member for over 20 years.
For the past 30 years she has run her own business and now combines all her therapies together to provide truly holistic care to her hormonal, fertility and pregnancy clients as well as her ‘general’ clients.
She is lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world just outside of Edinburgh.
She has sat on the members committee for a number of years and was a joint Convener for the 4 years and now heads the new Members Committee. Being the Convener means that she also sits on the Council to represent the members views and any issues that need to be taken to that level.
