How did you start your journey in medical Homeopathy?

My journey into medical Homeopathy began a few years after completing my residency in Internal Medicine. I was conventionally trained and honestly had no idea what Homeopathy or most any other of the CAM disciplines were. My patients exposed me to a whole new world of healing and that included Homeopathy. I began trying out basic acute care and first aid remedies and was gobsmacked by the rapidity and effectiveness of Homeopathy. I was sold after these early dramatic successes. It took years of training before I made my formal debut treating patients and am still gobsmacked today.

How do you integrate Homeopathy in your professional practice?

My practice has evolved and shifted over the years to primarily Homeopathy. I am ever grateful for my years of hospital and clinic training since it informs my practice and diagnostic acumen. However, Homeopathy is where I chose to specialize and focus. I serve as VP for the AIH. The past few years I have become involved in consulting work, advocacy and teaching. I work closely with the not-for-profit HOHM Foundation (https://hohmfoundation.org/) in Comfort Care as their medical advisor. This groundbreaking program treats patients using Homeopathy for life-limiting and serious illness all the way to their final days. We know how invaluable Homeopathy is for most acute and/or chronic conditions; but working with the seriously ill using Homeopathy offers profound relief and comfort for patients and their families. We grow and evolve in our healthcare practices over time, yet Homeopathy remains my north star after all these years.
