How did you start your journey in Homeopathy practice?
My journey into homeopathy began in 1996. I came to it as a published research scientist and practising medical doctor, after accompanying my brother-in-law to a consultation that challenged my existing understanding. I took a sabbatical from medical practice to train at the London Homeopathic Hospital, at a time when there were only two students, combining formal teaching with supervised patient work. For the last thirty years, I have continued to study with leading homeopaths globally and to practise homeopathy alongside medicine as a core pillar of my integrative medical practice.
How do you integrate Homeopathy in your professional practice?
My work is centred on the individual and on supporting the conditions that allow healing to take place. Homeopathy forms a core pillar of my practice and sits within a broader, integrated clinical framework developed over three decades of training and practice across multiple holistic modalities, including Traditional Chinese Medicine and A cupuncture, among others. This breadth allows me to move fluidly between approaches and adapt treatment as a case unfolds. Over time, this way of working has deepened my respect for the body’s inherent capacity to heal when the right conditions are created. Alongside clinical practice, I remain actively involved in clinical research and outcome-based inquiry, using careful observation and analysis to refine how different modalities work together. I value open dialogue, with patients and with colleagues across different traditions, as an essential part of an evolving and meaningful practice.
