How did you start your journey in Homeopathy practice?

When I was 5 years old my parents took me to an eminent homeopathic allergologist in Bucharest, who over the course of 2 years completely cured my asthma. (She was using subcutaneous injections of the allergens in progressively increasing potencies). After that, little homeopathic bottles with funny Latin names were always part of our playing cupboard! Alongside  with my sister I started ‘playing doctors’ (she is now a paediatrician in USA). My father who was an editor, took the playing doctor a bit further and taught himself how to treat our coughs and colds. We never used antibiotics thereafter.

How do you integrate Homeopathy in your professional practice?

For the first few yeas after qualifying in 2014 I was able to still delivery Homeopathy as part of the NHS as a ‘secondary care’ service.

Since the regulation came in 2022 that no anthroposophical or homeopathical remedies were to be prescribed within the NHS, it became impossible to offer homeopathy within its confines.

For a few years, I delivered low cost homeopathic clinics subsidised by BHA.

Since 2020 I have my own private clinic in Bristol and Stroud. In the meantime, I have also trained in Anthroposophical Medicine. I find the two system complementary and supportive, my results have taken off since I have added Anthroposophy to my bow. Homeopathy is profoundly transformative on a soul/emotional level, anthroposophical remedies are supportive of the ‘formative forces’ and nearly always guaranteed to give results. Thankfully we still have a generous concessionary funding available in Bristol offered by Ruskin Mill Trust.
