 Functional Medicine, Osteopathy, Homeopathy

How did you start your journey in Homeopathy practice?

My journey into homeopathy began by listening closely to patients and staying open to what truly helps them heal. I come from a lineage of natural healers dating back to the 1800s, including my great-grandfather, Hakim Benyamin, a renowned physician in Iran, so natural medicine was always part of my foundation. During medical training, osteopathic medicine reinforced my belief in the body’s innate intelligence, yet I still felt something was missing. While serving as Chief Resident at USC, I invited CEDH to present—one lecture made it clear homeopathy was the perfect complement. Seeing results in practice sealed my commitment.

How do you integrate Homeopathy in your professional practice?

In my practice, I integrate homeopathy as a core clinical tool alongside osteopathic and functional medicine. I begin with a thorough history—physical symptoms, triggers, modalities, sleep, stress patterns, and emotional state—then select an individualized constitutional or acute remedy that matches the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Homeopathy is especially valuable for supporting the body’s self-regulating capacity in chronic pain, anxiety, digestive disorders, fatigue, and recovery after illness, and it often complements conventional care by improving resilience and reducing symptom burden. I also use it strategically during medication tapering and complex chronic cases, while addressing foundational drivers such as inflammation, hormone balance, gut health, nutrient status, and nervous system regulation. My goal is always the same: personalized, gentle interventions that support durable healing and empower patients to participate in their recovery.
