How did you start your journey in Homeopathy practice?
My journey into homeopathy began personally — as a patient. Always drawn to medicine (I was on a pathway to dentistry), it was my own battle with eczema that became the turning point. The stress of matriculation exams, set against the backdrop of South Africa's profound changes in 1994, triggered my condition. I tried every conventional route available, but nothing offered lasting relief. Then my mother discovered a homeopathic clinic at Durban University of Technology — and the results were undeniable. That experience didn't just heal me; it set me on an unwavering path that has defined my life's work.
How do you integrate Homeopathy in your professional practice?
My practice is rooted in classical homeopathy, underpinned by thorough, individualised case-taking that encompasses the physical, emotional, and mental landscape of each patient. Over the years I have expanded my approach, and now draw on herbal medicine, nutritional guidance, supplementation, Australian Bush Flower Essences, and lifestyle support to build genuinely whole-person treatment plans.
My practice sees a high volume of anxiety, neurological conditions such as migraines, and female health — an area I am particularly passionate about, supporting women through hormonal shifts and the full arc of reproductive life. Detoxification is a cornerstone of my work; addressing the body's toxic burden is often what unlocks the healing other approaches have not reached.
I work with patients of all ages, including children, and I am consistently drawn to the complex cases that others have struggled to resolve.
