Homeopath and Clinical Research Specialist Nurse

How did you start your journey in Homeopathy practice?

In 1986–87, I co-managed a small organic greengrocer in Wimbledon, London, where we had a notice board for local complementary practitioners. After suggesting homeopathy to a regular customer for very painful mastitis, I saw how quickly it relieved her symptoms. She later invited me to her follow-up appointment, knowing I was curious about what had been prescribed. Observing that consultation made me realise this was the field I wanted to pursue. I began my training in September 1987, and I still feel incredibly fortunate to have found this profession.

How do you integrate Homeopathy in your professional practice?

I have two distinct professional roles: I work part-time as a research specialist nurse at my local hospital and I practise privately as a homeopath in North Wales. I see clients both in person, from the therapy room at the local sports club, and online. I am also one of the homeopaths involved in a monthly low-cost clinic in Canterbury https://homeopathy-uk.org/treatment/clinics/kent-homeopathic-clinic/
I value the time I spend with each client, listening to their history and working closely with them to help build a balanced, resilient state of health. Seeing positive outcomes from homeopathic treatment is deeply rewarding.
