How did you start your journey in Homeopathy practice?

My journey started in my childhood in France. We always had a selection of homeopathic remedies in our family pharmacy and I was fascinated by them! Through the years, I received homeopathic treatment myself to help treat various issues from my old hay fever symptoms to pregnancy related issues. It’s not until I worked alongside a senior Osteopath in Central London who offered homeopathy alongside her treatments, that I realised how passionate I was about its action. Being a strong believer in multidisciplinary care, I quickly researched how I could further my knowledge of Homeopathic Medicine and this is how I enrolled on the PHCE course in 2022.

How do you integrate Homeopathy in your professional practice?

Homeopathy has become a good way of helping my clients manage their symptoms between sessions or whenever they are away for a while.

My approach in Osteopathy over the past decade has been very holistic, we do have the luxury of time in sessions which makes it possible to hear the full client’s story and see patterns that can lead to a remedy. Sometimes, as I am listening to them, the words they may use and their needs bring a clear remedy in mind. Having a “homeopathic lens” can often be very reassuring to the client, their complex experience suddenly becomes one full picture we can explore. With my osteopathic treatment, I can also pick up palpatory information about how their body or symptomatic area feels, and I found this very helpful to then match a remedy and prescribe at the end of the session.

I am also trained in Paediatric Osteopathy and see babies from birth. Homeopathy has been excellent at complementing my treatments. In chronic cases, it has helped me address barriers to recovery that Osteopathy alone was not enough to resolve.
